Tihany

At the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, near Mamula Island on a sandy bottom at a depth of 45 meters, there is a steamer Tihany. The ship was sailing on Kotor- Bar route transporting coal on 12th February 1917 , when it had struck the Cape Arza at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. During the refloating of the ship it sank on the sandy bottom at 40m depth near Cape Arza and Mamula Island. Today the Ship can be found at the sea bottom tilted to the left side.
